Boglya Ökoház

The Boglya Eco House got its name from the straw bale used for its construction, as the Boglya is not only an eco-house but also a straw house within it. Sustainability, beauty and modern technological solutions were paramount when designing the Boglya eco-house. Only natural raw materials have been used in the construction, such as wood, straw and eco plaster, which has a beneficial effect not only on the environment but also on health. Wastewater is decomposed by a biological wastewater decomposer, and rainwater is collected and recycled both in the house and in the garden. The house is electrically supplied with solar panels.
Boglya Eco House is located on an area of ​​nearly 1.5 hectares, surrounded by forest and orchard, in the near of the village of Ozora in Tolna County. The building can comfortably accommodate up to four people and has a floor space of 68 square meters including the gallery. This is complemented by a 60-square-meter lounge terrace overlooking the lavender garden planted by the owners. The house has two separate bedrooms, a bathroom, a living room and a fully equipped kitchen instead. The downstairs bedroom has a free-standing bath and a double bed made of pine in a lemon-scented circus. The seven-meter glass façade of the living room has a wonderful view of the forest opposite and the nearly 2,000-square-meter orchard directly connected to the house.
